Today for class we went to listen to a speaker named Dr. Kevin Cloninger talk.
The talk was about well being, and how it is important to balance all of the parts of you to actually be healthy. It was not at all what I was expecting from this talk, I was expecting to hear a talk more geared to teachers but this talk was mostly about how we are all responsible for making ourselves healthy and balancing things in our own lives. I suppose this can be used in the classroom in some ways, but it was mostly a type of self-help talk rather than an educational one.
